This new Sure Start Centre located in the heart of Lye on a tight urban site provides a lively addition to the area through its Re-interpretation of the traditional forms and spacial composition.

The building is planned around a central double height circulation space that extends the full length of the building from the entrance to the covered play area at the rear of the building. The design provides maximum flexibility to allow for the evolution of childcare services over the coming years.
